• That depends upon the security system. If the security system can write to file shares, NFS, or to a FTP server it should be able to work with the MyCloud. If you need USB storage you'd have to get the MyPassport USB hard drive instead.

• I am using one for CCTV Video Storage but not via Wi-Fi. My cameras are hard wired. Works great
