There is only one drive in the unit. Therefore it is not capable of any RAID configurations.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is only room for a single 4TB WD drive in the device. I looked at a teardown of a 4TB cloud, it looked like a WD Red drive (NAS specific) and while the software on the attached board might allow for a hack to allow for a RAID configuration, there is only one SATA connection on the board and there is no room in the case for a second drive. So hacking a 4TB to make a RAID might be possible, but you would be better served to just purchase a mirrored 6TB unit or using a different unit for RAID functionality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This device has been made to have a simpler UI. It is not an option that is readily available anywhere. As for how many hard drives come, the default is 1. However, I'm sure if you wanted to, you could insert some sort of partition.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This model has a single 4TB drive inside. If you click "specs" on the tab or other drives, such as SKU 5062019, you'll see that they list the number of drives, and the case is bigger to hold them.
