I had the same issue. Also never was certain when the transfer was complete as sometimes the screen with the photos didn't automatically update with the new files. Personally I don't see why transferring the to a PC would be any better as tablets, cell phones, and PCs all use the same transfer process. I believe there is a bug in the Pro software that is causing this as I don't get missing photos when transferring photos with any of my other devices. Also I find that the transfer speed is unacceptable for large file sizes like 32G or 64G photo memory cards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely transfer to a computer or, better yet, an external hard drive such as this one. I like this one because it connects via wi-fi. Also look at Adobe Lightroom to get your pictures organized so you can easily find them at a later date.
