“I am going to switch from my Imac to a PC. I want to save all my photo's and some files from my mac and then be able to load onto my new PC. Can I do that with a external hard drive or flash drive. Which would be my best option and is it very difficult”

• I suggest to backup using a hard drive instead of a flash drive

• It depends on how much data you need to transfer. I did a full backup with my WD 4TB portable hard drive. It was pretty fast. But I only had 1.3 TB to move. You might also want to be sure that your new computer can read the file type. When we moved docs from our Mac, the PC could not read all of the files.
