“Will this work on a 5 yr old iMac running Yosemite? I have an older iMac from circa 2009 running the latest version of Yosemite. Will this work? My concern is the USB port. I'm not sure it's USB 3.0.”

Backward compatible with USB 2. Should work.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should, I use mine on a 3 year old iMac, and a MacBook 13 that's at least 8 years old, and some of the studios I've worked in are using machines older than mine, and it works just fine. Hope this helps.
