• Yes it works flawlessly with Yosemite, plugged it in and it was instantly recognized and I was even asked if I wanted to use it for Time Machine. That is my primary use for this drive as a Time Machine back up, works GREAT no issues at all.

• Yes, I am running it with Yosemite (10.10.2). I have the 1 TB My PassPort for Mac (It says USB 3.0 on the box), and It seems to be fine running on a mid-2011 i-Mac.
