• the carbon copy answer for the boot drive does not mention what drive/size/OS was cloned... thus not helpful

• Yes, I used Carbon Copy Cloner and used it as an external boot drive. It worked perfectly. I wish the price on the drive was lower but it's cutting edge right now so it's to be expected. Fantastic Drive!!!
