• The packaging is minimal, without instructions etc. the drive is the same one you would get if you purchased the comsumer version.

• It means it is not in retail packaging. The drive arrived in a nondescript box and it was sealed in a static bag and secured by the plastic drive holding pieces. It doesn't come with cables, screws, power adapters, etc.

• It means that it does not come in the pretty Western Digital Box. It will just be in a plain cardboard box.
