    • Answer Hi Steal, Please be informed that you can use the WD Red Plus as an internal hard drive in a desktop PC, as it uses a standard SATA interface and is physically compatible. However, please note that WD Red Plus drives are specially optimized for NAS environments and 24/7 operation. While it work in a desktop system, for typical PC use (Ideal for Home Offices), we generally recommend WD Blue or WD Black for better performance suited to desktop workloads.
