  • QuestionCan this drive be used with an PS5 (external drive plugged in back)? Are their any limitations?

    • Answer Yes, It works with the Ps5; but only good for ps4 games. The other thing is that I tried to connect two at the same time and only one worked, I thought that sucked as the two drives worked on my Xbox series X. The drive is super fast to download games, it’s gets a bit hot, but over all worked very well. You can connect either on both usbs on the back or to the USB-c connection in the front of the ps5. Hope this helps!

  • Questionif you had more than one of these could you hook up both to a ps5? and if not both at same time could you use one and then unplug the 1st one and use the 2nd one and so forth on a ps5?

    • Answer Hello, Please know, Sony added support for external USB hard drives on the PS5 with their April 2021 update. However, due to PS5 restrictions, games can only be played off the console’s internal SSD. As such, external USB storage hard drives only function as a faster way to hot-swap games and data on or off the PS5’s internal storage. -Need Help?
