“Can this drive be used with an PS5 (external drive plugged in back)? Are their any limitations?”

Yes, It works with the Ps5; but only good for ps4 games. The other thing is that I tried to connect two at the same time and only one worked, I thought that sucked as the two drives worked on my Xbox series X. The drive is super fast to download games, it’s gets a bit hot, but over all worked very well. You can connect either on both usbs on the back or to the USB-c connection in the front of the ps5.
