“Is the base of the antennae magnetic and does it use the vehicle body for a ground plane? My travel trailer body is fiberglass and I'm concerned about signal propagation and reception.”

• Base is magnetic yes. Ground plane no. It appears to ground through the 12 volt electric circuit. No power no enhancement.

• It is magnetic but if it is like most of them at does used it for signal propagation however, as long as you put it on some sort of metal that works just fine even if the metal itself is not grounded.
