After installation which takes some time and planning (I spent about 30 minutes in the Phoenix Summer heat doing the installation). If done in the order instructed, lay out the cables starting with the antenna on the roof, as it will determine where the "booster block" must be installed. From there run the power to your 12V cigarette outlet; and then mount the phone with the provided vent clip and run wire from the phone holder back to the "booster block". Make sure the white led on the top of the phone holder comes on, I had to fiddle with the cigarette outlet connector to get a good connection, in some cars you might need the car to be running, in other you'll have power all the time. Once you see the white led is illuminated on the cell phone holder you know you have the booster installed and operational. The top of the cell phone holder pulls up to accommodate various sizes of phones. First I just looked at the cell phone bars my phone which went from 3 to (sometimes 4) out of 5 in my neighborhood. But I live in an area surrounded by hills/mountains, so there are places where I expect to drop calls. I'll get to that after some more testing With the help of gadgetguy11, I placed my iPhone 6 in Field Test Mode to check out the signal in actual dB numbers, not just in the number of bars, which are not a dependable indicator. Here is how to place an iPhone in Field Test Mode: Dial *3001#12345#* then press Call. On the upper left hand part of the screen you'll see the dB reading. With boost OFF, my iPhone read -102dB (see photo of phone in cradle without the white LED, meaning the Booster is OFF). With boost ON, my iPhone read -86dB. So how much is 16dB of signal increase (102dB - 86dB)? **** 16 dB is 20 times the power! **** Now for the test that I expected to fail (or pass if this thing worked) I drove a winding road up and over some hills where I frequently loose call phone service when driving (that i refer to as my local AT&T black hole). A started a call with my with my wife, and began my drive. Around the problem corner, into the valley, and my call remained connected, my bars dropped to 1 and 2 but my conversation continued and then back to 3 bars less than 1000' feet away. I turned around and went back the other direction, starting with 3-4 bars, when the road started to dip (where I expected the dropout) I saw the bars go to 1 then none, but I still had the call...I thought, then it was gone (but I still showed LTE service), on the way back I was driving more slowly. I reconnected from 50' from where the call dropped, all good again 1 to 2 bars thought. I repeated the test, going more slowly the first direction again, no problem. I turned around, repeating the test that failed last time, and this time the call stayed connected. So in an specific area I knew to be a problem area (probably dropping over 90% of my calls without the booster, I had some success, but still not completely corrected. The "numbers" told me I had a better signal, I saw an improvement where I'd hoped to. Less than 1/4 mile from where I live I get 5 bar service all the time, but I live against some good size hills in north Phoenix where OTA HD tv service is hit and miss (not saying cell service is the same, but mountains effect both). I just returned from a trip from Las Vegas, on route 60 where cell service is quite poor, I wish I'd had this booster on that trip to see what difference it would have made. Well I'm heading that way in Nov, I'll try to update this review when I've had a change to test it in a wider variety of areas. Now would I recommend it... probably if you think you have a problems, or have a lot of dropped calls from your car. If you don't you probably don't need it. But you could always try it, installation is non-invasive (no tools/holes required), and see if it helps you.

The weBoost DRIVE SLEEK 4G cellular booster is a low profile, inconspicuous device, where nothing shows except for a tiny modern outside antenna on the roof of the vehicle & the cradle for inside the passenger compartment. Everything needed for the plug and play installation is included with very simple instructions. There is even a toll free help line, if you have any questions. The cradle is spring loaded, designed to fit the smallest to the largest cellphones in their cases. My cellphone is an Apple iPhone 6S Plus with Tech21 Case. It fit with plenty of room to spare. Wilson sells an optional Home & Office Accessory Kit to enable this Booster to work in that venue. This Booster is made for one user: one cell phone. I placed my iPhone 6S Plus in Field Test Mode to check out the signal in actual dB numbers, not just in the number of bars, which can vary widely & is not a dependable indicator. So how much is 12dB of signal increase (118dB - 106dB)? **** 12 dB is 16 times the power! **** dB gain is measured exponentially. For every +3 dB gain translates to doubling the signal strength. For every +10 dB is 10 times the signal strength. 12 dB is 16 times the power! Summary: The weBoost DRIVE SLEEK 4G cellular booster performs as advertised. A 16X signal increase will reduce dropped calls, extend cell phone battery life, as the phone does not need to work as hard to communicate with the nearest cell tower. In weak cell signal areas, you will experience clearer communication by avoiding digital signal breakup where portions of the conversation would have been chopped off. This is a very easy to install solution to overcome those weak "cell signal blues". I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I was skeptical at first of this product - how will it magically repeat and boost my cell phone signal with NO connection to my cell phone. Turns out they've done an expert job with all the pieces in this kit and it works. Not only that it works WELL! Keep in mind there are limitations to this kind of tech - cellular radio signals are mostly line of sight, which means if there's something between you and the tower, or some kind of obstacle, this isn't going to overcome that, but it may help. I find this kit to be the equivalent of being able to stand on the roof and hold my phone over my head and see how many bars I get. The pieces in the box are smartly labeled steps 1 thru 5. Everything has well made cables and connectors and the order of things makes sense for assembling the pieces needed inside and outside the car separately, as well as plenty (maybe too much) cable for each piece. The power adapter also has a USB port on it so you're not completely giving up your power port when you plug it in. The main unit is designed to be stashed somewhere (under the seat, in the glove box, etc) so it can be hidden. The cradle is spring loaded, instead of the ratchet adjustment I would have expected, but It seemed to hold on to my iPhone 7 just time in a case. The Cradle is a neat little piece of technology in itself - it's designed to use a version of the popular magnetic vent mounts, and it comes with one. It also has a power indicator light that glows white so you know when the device is active. A nice little indicator for a passive booster like this. The cradle itself is actually low profile enough that you can bring the phone to your ear and talk when your phone is docked in the cradle i thought this was a nice touch. As far as signal boosting goes this thing consistently added one bar, and sometimes two. It wasn't earth shattering by any means, but there were cases when I used it that it meant the difference between 1xrtt and 3g, or 3G and LTE. I think the price point is a little high for what you get, and I found myself wishing that a semi-permanent power cable had been included since this is definitely designed for longer term use. WeBoost does sell a number of compatible accessories for it, but of course that's above and beyond what you get in the box. Overall it does what it's advertised to do, consistently and well. When you need added signal, you NEED more bars, just like this device gives you. I'm going to try it in a semi permanent installation in an RV next, which is where I think i'll use it the most, and also test it with a wireless hotspot to see how it helps my internet.

Overall this is a good device that was simple to use. This model has some great improvements, but there are still some key features/shortcomings that kept this from being a five start product. In general, setup takes less than 20mins (5 if you just loosely run the wires). Once it's all set up, you slide your device in to the cradle and you're good to go. Signal improvements are generally in the 1-2 bar range, but a more accurate measure is by dBm which give a quantitative number. I saw on average a 10% increase in signal. See attached pictures. It uses a vent mount and the power adapter is standard 12v plug with a USB port. Pros: Quick Setup Vent Mount (NO adhesive required) Measurable signal improvement This signal booster really took only about 15minutes to setup. I had no issues getting this started up. If you look at the attached pictures, you can see the signal improvement wasn't huge, but it was helpful. I went from no signal to LTE in some areas which is very helpful when you drive through remote areas or dead zones. I started using a streaming music service and I haven't gotten a single second without music, even in areas where I would get zero signal. I would like to see inclusion of the option to hardwire the device. A great feature is the power adapter has a USB port which charged my smartphone very well. This makes up for using up a power port. Overall, this definitely improves my signal and capabilities on the road. It also serves as a peace of mind. Cons: Short wires Antenna and cradle colors Modest signal improvement Cradle mount not adjustable Phone has to be on cradle Although this device was designed well, there are some important shortcomings. The wire from the cradle to the central module is long, but from the antenna to the central module is short. Although they have it designed for a very short run in to the car, I really like to maintain aesthetics and the short antenna wire made this more difficult. I'm also not a big fan of the charcoal color with thin red halo around the base of the antenna. The cradle also has a match gray/lighter charcoal color. Its not a terrible eyesore, but I think the colors and finish could shown much more aesthetic. I used this device on a car and truck and it does take away from the nice clean look. I do appreciate not having to drill holes, but there could be improvement with the wire design so that it doesn't show up as much. Whether standard consumer or for commercial use, aesthetics are always important. The biggest flaw is the nonadjustable vent mount. Vents come in all kinds of crazy shapes and designs, so there should have been more flexibility with the adjustment. This is a big problem for me because the cradle plus phone is heavy and most vents will just follow the weight (which is way out of line of sight for me). It is also important to note that your phone MUST be placed in the cradle for the signal booster to work. Although I was content with the amount of signal boost, I do not believe it came close to the ability they advertise. However, if you are in a densely populated urban environment, you will probably see greater improvements than when traveling through rural areas. This is a good product.

The booster does a very good job of boosting any weak signal to something that is acceptable to very good. But the caveat is that you must have some sort of signal to boost, having no signal and this device cannot help you. So ignore reviews that say not good because of no signal or an extremely weak signal, it cannot boost something that is not present. The box says to contact your cell provider, I did not and had no issues using the device other than it gets hot the longer you use it. The manufacturer says this is normal. Bottom line it works for me and help me maintain coverage that has weak signal to allow me to not only make calls but to stream programs relatively smoothly.

The booster works great but the cradle cracked my iPhone X screen and the company would not pay to have it fixed so I’m returning it.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I received the WeBoost. This is fairly easy to install. I ran all the wires loose at first to make sure the WeBoost would work properly. After I knew it worked, I went back and hid all the wires. I must say, I am impressed with the signal improvement. I checked my signal before during and after using the WeBoost, and it does work. Before I placed my phone in the cradle, I had only two signal bars. When I placed the phone in the cradle, the signal bars jumped to four bars immediately, sometimes going to max, all five bars. When I removed my phone, the bars went back to two. In my area, it's not hard to get a signal, and there are no dead zones that I know of, but I do a lot of traveling up north, and constantly running into dead zones, so I'm anxious to try this out on my next trip.

I didn't know what to expect from this signal booster. As it's my first one. I experienced a boost any where from 0 dBm to +3 dBm. So every situation is different. I tested with two phones and two different carriers. And the results were very similar. So it dose work some times taking me from 1 bar at -118 dBm to two bars at -115 dBm. The install is pretty straightforward and easy. Install time will vary per vehicle and how much effort you wish to take in hiding the wires. I hid mine under floormat's and trim pieces in under 20 minutes. I like the cradle the phone sits in. Not very bulky and feels comfortable to use.

This works well, maybe too well. It makes me wonder how much radiation is being concentrated to increase the signal. I have read that cellular boosters in general may actually decrease radiation since it strengthens the link, which makes sense as well. Long story short, this works, and if you have a lot of spotty areas where you live or where you travel to, think about checking this out before switching carriers. One major thing I'd like to point out though is that per weboost, you must register this device with your wireless service provider and have their consent before using. I'm not quite sure how this works and if you'll be charged extra or what happens if they say you can't use it but use it anyway (I'm not sure how it's monitored). I tested this with a T-Mobile pre-paid plan and it seems normal, but I haven't tested it in the absolute middle of nowhere yet. I'm also not sure how this would work in the rain, as you're expected to mount the outside antenna provided to the outside of your vehicle with a magnet holding it in place. Maybe they don't expect you to have it connected all the time but only in areas where you know you have trouble getting a signal? The wiring is also a bit intrusive for my tastes, and is just in the way of things if you're on a family road trip traveling for hours and wanted this plugged in during the trip, the wires will be in the way of things unless you tape it to the ceiling of your vehicle maybe. It needs some wire management for sure depending on where you put the outside antenna.

The WeBoost Drive Sleek provides coverage in places that previously had none. Installation was simple and the included power cord has a built in USB port to plug in a phone charger cable. In a test environment, such as a metal building where there is zero cell coverage while holding a phone in one’s hand, the WeBoost Drive Sleek provides an astounding three full bars of coverage inside the vehicle. In the real world, in an area where there is simply very little coverage and calls drop as soon as one says “hello”, the WeBoost Drive Sleek was put to the test, resulting in a FULL FOUR BARS of coverage and crystal clear calls. I cannot be more excited. This WeBoost Drive Sleek works fantastic and is able to provide voice, data, and text coverage in places where otherwise no coverage would exist.

Love the sony ultra 4k TV. Now I wish I would have purchased the 65 inch. I didn't think I had enough room.

Installed in minutes with an easy 5 step process. Boosts cell signal in areas where it is weak. The only issue is that phone needs to be in the cradle for the device to work therefore it only boost the signal for one device.

Straight out of the box this cell signal booster delivers as promised. I use it with a Verizon Jetpack to provide wifi so that I can work in my RV. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) The new design for the cradle is too large to hold in a jetpack. I'll need to use some sort of spacer to fill in the gap so that the jetpack is held in place. Works great for a smartphone though. 2) The cable to the antenna is a bit short so I'll need to buy an extension (Note: these are not standard coax cables so it looks like I'll need to get it from Wilson/WeBoost.). On the plus side, the old design for these boosters were known for getting really hot if you used them for a long period. With this new model the signal amplifier still gets warm, but not that hot at all. I've used it for 9 hours at a time without issue.

It boosts my signal in places where I have none. However the piece that is on the phone holder that magnets to the vent mount has came unglued. Therefore I can't mount it on my vent anymore.

I had zero reception within a 4 mile radius of my house. - no bass showing except inside the house with WIFI calling. I now have 2 to 5 bars every wher in my vehicle. My only complaint is the only mounting system give is using the ac/heater vents on the dash. I have an old truck with brittle plastic vents that break and the heater would cause excess temperature on my Phone. The configuration also only allows a vertical mount option. I will have to improvise another magnetic mounting option for my vehicle.

I work in area where no one has service, until know. Always have 2 bars or more. I used the vent clip it works great, took about 5 minutes to install. Just set phone in holder and it pickup boost. No bluetooth or anything. Thanks weboost good product!

The WeBoost was easy to install and it works great with either my Verizon or the company AT&T phone. The only thing that I dislike about it is the magnet to hold the cradle to the mount. Being round, it allows the phone to twist and turn with any bump while driving. 3 smaller magnets in a triangle pattern would stop this from happening.

What an amazing booster! I had my doubts, but after using it only for 30 mins on my way into work I was sold! I would just refuse to call or talk to anyone bc I would always drop the call! Not anymore !

When we installed it we went up 1-2 bars. Easy to install

Works awesome! Well worth the money! I would give it 5 stars but, it’s weak point is the power adapter. I recommend unplugging the power plug when notnin use. Thenppwer plug also has a USB charge point for your phone. I believe that to be it’s weak link. Downfall is that the power plug does not have a replaceable fuse.
