Try the Wemo Insight instead for the Air-conditioner. You can track you usage and it also gives you an estimated monthly cost . I have been using it for about 2 years now never had any problems.

For as long as the device plugged into the Wemo Mini does not exceed its electrical ration (120V~/15A/60Hz/1800W), then it should be safe, Pineapple.
