• It’s not your phone but your Wi-Fi router. As long as the outlet can connect to your home network, it doesn’t matter about your phone. Your phone uses Wi-Fi or cellular to connect, not Bluetooth.

• Doesn’t depend on your distance to phone depends on distance to Wi-Fi router works out to about 50 feet for me

• The important distance is from the plug to your wi-fi router-modem. My plug is about 40 ft from the router. It should work anywhere around the house that has a WiFi signal.
