- Answer No you do not, the TV automatically scans for stations. We use an antenna but you can scan for cable stations also.

- Answer This is not a "smart" TV, so streaming services are not built in. You can buy a FireTV stick or similar to hook up to an HDMI input and stream Netflix. You can hook the TV up to your computer and use it like a monitor (and stream netflix from your computer).
