“Can a shelf be eliminated? I was looking for something with shelves high enough to accomodate my wireless printer on the bottom. Can one shelf be eliminated or not put on to make room for the printer? A cable box will be on the upper shelf.”

You could leave one out, they attach individually. The glass is also separate from the metal frame.

Yes. I removed the bottom shelf to place my subwoofer in that area. It looks great. The shelves are tempered glass and are removable.

Yes you can and I did. No problem with stability for me however it was designed for all shelves to be attached.

The dimension between two bottom shelves is 10.5" H x 17" D, we wouldn't recommend eliminating one of the shelves on this model, however it would be your preference.

I don't believe that a shelf should be eliminated as the cabinet is designed for each specific shelf to fit where it goes and it adds to the stability. There is plenty of room in between the shelves in my opinion.
