- Answer This TV stand does come with a 2 year manufacturer warranty for parts, so I would encourage your friend to contact Whalen Furniture directly to see about a replacement handle. I hope that helps!

- Answer Solid poplar, MDF and PB and cherry veneer. Panels are fastened with wood cleats, secured with screws and glue.

QuestionI was wondering being it's "pre-assembled" if people had issues with it being beat up upon arrival? I want to get it shipped but I'm nervous...this is too expensive to worry about dings and scratches when I take it out...thanks!

- Answer I purchased this stand and it is made of solid wood and real stain. You will smell the fresh wood stain as soon as it's out of the box. I was surprised, inside the drawers are true wood dividers and the shelves are not made cheap either. If you're still unsure, your local store will likely have one on display that you can inspect more thoroughly. That is what I did, as I had the same concerns.

- Answer Ours had an odor also, it was the finish and the tight packaging that retained the smell. Took maybe a week and the odor went away.
