What are the dimensions of the open center space? null

7"H x 28.5"D x 12"D. There is actually 9 inch in height on the inner space, but the front bezel hangs down and blocks off a couple of inches, if that makes sense. Someone else was asking about this - you could fit a 9 inch high box if you placed it on the shelf before attaching the top shelf (which seems like a pain, but that was the intent of that questioner).
