QuestionWhere does the cord come out of the microwave...our plugin is NOT in the cabinet above, rather on the wall where the mounting bracket will be bolted. It should be clear of the bracket though. Is that a problem? Will the excess cord fit behind?

- Answer I bought mine in late October. I didn’t want it installed right away. I didn’t even purchase installation. I took my old microwave out myself and thought I could install the new one. But, was too much for me so I went back to the store in Late November and purchased an installation. They came December 7th and did an outstanding job. So yes, you can install later.

- Answer Hi Vickirr, you can set the time for less than 30 seconds. You would just need to manually enter the time, by accessing the number pad located behind the right side of the door. When you open the door, the number pad will be located on the right where the door was seated. We hope this helps.

QuestionMy kitchen is relatively small and cabinets 12 inches deep. Will this look odd jutting 6 inches? Most microwaves are 15 o/16 inches deep. I am VERY concerned with aesthetics (NOT concerned with practicality); will it look really odd??

- Answer The appearance is different. Best go to an appliance store that has one installed and see for yourself. The full width with square corners is noticeable and the extra three inches changes how you work at the range top. The appearance is great, the adjustment in the working space is likely to matter more initially.

- Answer Yes - there are four or five loose grilles and covers about 2 inches by 5 inches with screws that are fastened in one of two ways to make the unit direct vented or recirculating. One forward discharging grille cools the microwave's magnetron. There is a noticeable upward warm air discharge at the front of the unit but that air is not in contact with food vapors or grease laden air.
