- Answer SuzyQ - I don't have any device to measure decibels, but I can tell you the fan is NOT loud at all. Also, all the buttons are VERY quiet when you push them ;)

QuestionI just bought this unit. The power cord appears to be on the back of the unit instead of on top which means I now have to cut holes in my wall instead of simply up to the cabinet above where the power source is. Please tell me this is not the case.

QuestionHow often to the filters need to be changed and how easy is it to change them? Where can the filters be purchased?

- Answer Hey JenZee, thank you for your inquiry! The filters are replaceable. The charcoal filter is behind the grease filter at the bottom of the microwave oven. The charcoal filter cannot be cleaned and should be replaced about every 6 months. The grease filter is located on the underside of the microwave oven. The grease filter should be removed and cleaned at least once a month. This information is located in the Use and Care Manual on page 14.
