Q: QuestionCan BestBuy delivery install the side vent?If I order the side vent kit, and have it ready, will it be installed upon delivery?

• A:Answer My Best Buy delivery & setup guys did the entire installation. You have to have a NEW vent kit, NEW hoses for the washer, and a NEW power cord. They won't install anything used onto a new unit.

Q: QuestionDoes the back of the unit have a bar the goes along the floor.when the builder put the electric in for this he put it at floor lever so I am wondering if this unit is open in the center on the back at the floor as I need to plug in right at floor level and not sure I will have enough room with the 27 1/4 inch depth unless it is open in the center at the back... Hope you understand the question...

• A:Answer Yes, this unit does have a V-shape opening at the back part of the washer, at first this was a concern of mine since the dryer vent on my floor was installed thru the floor. luckily there is an opening on the back side of the unit.

Q: QuestionFILTERWhere is the filter located on either the washer or dryer ( have the whirlpool 1.5 cu ft 5 cycle electric washer and dryer combo? Have looked and looked and can not find one .

Q: QuestionWhen do you pour the fabric softener in?When I put the softener in at the beginning of the wash directly into the bowl with the clothes it stains the clothes. When I put it in the centre where the rotator is it goes in immediately and does not wait for the rinse cycle.

• A:Answer Dear Customer: On your model, use only liquid fabric softener in this dispenser located in the center of the agitator. Pour measured liquid fabric softener into the dispenser. Softener is added automatically during the rinse portion of the cycle. Dilute liquid fabric softener by filling the dispenser with warm water until liquid reaches the crossbar in the dispenser opening. Q: QuestionWhat are dimensionsThe builder was 'out to lunch' when he built the home we bought. The washer/dryer space is only 28" deep and that includes room for hoses and duct(for dryer). Is there a W & D that will fit this space. It seems most are 25" and that does not include the room for connections in back.

This unit is able to be vented out the left or right side. The width of unit is 23 7/8", if you vent out the side you will need a width of 28 7/8". Sincerely, Sally C
