A:AnswerHi! You can use cast iron cookware with the convection feature, as long as it fits properly and the weight doesn't appear to stress the racks, as this is a smaller unit. You will not be able to use the cast iron during a Microwave function, however.
A:AnswerThe vents are in the back and although the microwave has a powerful fan the design doesn’t allow it to move much air and the fans being in the back doesn’t help. I just had a repair person check the fan and he told me about the design flaw. The microwave works great it’s just the air movement of the fan which is the issue.
