I'm assuming you're talking about the convection function. It depends on the temperature setting, but I did a side by side comparison compared to my gas oven at 365 degrees. The microwave was faster at about 15 minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The convection oven heated to 350 for me in about 7 minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You really can't expect to bake something without preheating. To bake or brown food it must be surrounded by hot air. It would be unfair to expect a cold microwave to be able to brown in minutes without warming up. This microwave features a preheat timer that starts the cooking process as soon as the oven reaches your desired set temp, or you can start the cooking time as soon as you set the food in, by pressing the start button twice. If you are in a hurry great, but you can't expect the same crispy browning affect if you place your food in to cook during preheat and start the time. Patients has it's virtues. 20 to 30min. to preheat is a little exaggerated, if you ask me. I don't even think about it when I set the food in, the timer just starts counting down when the oven comes to temp. I never timed how fast it preheats, but it doesn't take long for such a small space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Stormin, the oven will be within temperature range at the sound of the timer but waiting 10 minutes after the timer will help ensure the right temperature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would depend, of course, on the set temp, but mine does not take anywhere near that long.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, preheats to 350 in a few minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Took about 8 mins got 350
