I assume it is because you can arrange everything to your convenience, there are 5 bins that fit in door, plus a permanent one at bottom of door , according to what you need and 2 produce drawers on bottom and a cheese and meat drawer that fits under top shelf, you end up with maximum of three areas for food plus drawers depending on how you position drawers. I didn't need one bin for door, so use it on a shelf to store small bottles.
