• A:Answer If your garage is not heated the compressor and evaporator will not function properly when it gets cold in the winter which will make the temp inside of the fridge rise. This is true for all fridges not specifically made to deal with this issue

• A:Answer I have read that it is a good idea to allow at least 3 inches between the top of the refrigerator and cabinets, probably for ventilation. My space from the floor to the cabinets is 68 inches, and this refrigerator is about 65 inches high.
