What is the metal shelf on the door for? null

For cans. We're not soda drinkers so we decided to leave the metal shelf out and arrange the other shelves so we have more room for wine bottles at the bottom...

Kell, the metal shelf on the door is a pop can holder.

It's adjustable and fits on the refrigerator door....holds 2 liters and tall bottles/items in place.
