• I believe you would have to purchase separately. We didn't hook ours up as we have well water. Years ago we came home and our kitchen was flooded, needless to say we learned our lesson the hard way, we aren't taking anymore chances. Hope this helps.

• The refrigerator has an ice maker. I would assume it has a filter, but not sure. I don't have mine hooked up due to my kitchen layout. You might want to look in the manufacturers website or even download their manual that should really answer your question. I love the fridge is very spacious and does a good job!
