- Answer I'm not sure about removal, but the ice maker does have an off switch. It also doesn't take up much room. We turned it off and never bothered with connecting the water line.

- Answer Best Buy hooked me up with the standard hose used for Refrigerator water lines. The 5 or 6 foot length should be just fine as you satated that you had a source already located behind the unit, as do I.

- Answer The simple answer is "NO". I don't think any of the brushed stainless models are fingerprint resistant. At least none of mine are fingerprint resistant.

- Answer Hi Notworking, we suggest doing a "quick" reboot on the unit by either unplugging the unit at the wall or shutting it down at the breaker for only 1 minute. 15 minutes is too long and resembles a power outage. QuestionWe have had this unit for a couple months now and continue to have a problem with things freezing in the refrigerator part. The label on the control says 7 is the coldest, so, we have been stepping it down to it now being set at 1 and it still freezes.
