• Hello Icemaker, the ice maker will stop producing ice when the bin is full.

• It stops making ice automatically when full. There is a metal bar that switches off the ice maker when the tray is full

• Yes, once the tray is full the ice production stops. Once you take some ice out of the tray the ice production resumes until the tray is full again.
