Q: QuestionYou advised NOT to use magnets on this model as it can cause discoloration. Is that only for the Black stainless Steel model or for the regular stainless steel model as well? Why does it cause discoloration on the black stainless steel?

• A:Answer Hi Larry, thank you for your inquiry. It can cause discoloration and damage to the finishes on both models. On the black stainless you will probably see more visible scratching and damage.

• A:Answer Take off the kick panel as you would for cleaning the bottom coils. It's easy to take off, just a little frustrating to wrangle it back on and line up the screw holes properly in order to thread the screws back in. You may as well clean the coils while you're at it. Just be prepared as these coils are slightly stacked and more difficult to clean.
