Width is just under 36" and ice maker is in the pullout bottom freezer with a holding tray for cubes. The ice maker is attached to the sidewall and out of sight and unless you get on your knees and look. The tray is 11" x 13.5" and sets in the top pullout basket, directly below the ice maker, so it becomes accessible when you pull the top basket out.
