This Whirlpool® Dishwasher needs to have a hot water supply connected in order to work. We hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No it needs hot water, it can't raise the temp from ~50° to ~130° needed. Fyi it actually says in the manual to run the closest hot water tap to the washer until it's hot as it can get before starting a wash cycle. Floored me. This way their efficiency rating doesn't get dinged! :-) It's you wasting the water to preheat it, not the dishwasher! Never saw anything like that before in a manual.....
