“Are there any specs as to where the electrical outlet must be in the back? We purchased this refrigerator but hasn't been delivered yet. We are doing a gut reno of our kitchen and electrician is asking if the outlet needs to be in a specific place.”

Ours is a new installation and the outlet was placed at the center of the back wall, about midway between floor and ceiling. Does not have to be in the back, but the cord isn’t really long and a side installation might show. Refrigerator rolls out for access.

The electrical outlet was already installed so it wasn’t a problem for us. If it helps, our electrical outlet is behind our refrigerator. Good luck, we love this refrigerator!
