“Why does it say 0 for freezer and 38 for fridge but my friend has this model and it has electric temperature that has numbers 4 for fridge and 4 for freezer. Confused.”

Depending on how full your refrigerator is and how long you leave the door open. I found that 5 on both compartments keeps me in the safe area. I used a refrigerator thermometer where 5 to warm and 4 to cold.
