“i have the a whirlpool 24.6 side by side refrig. the order filter light came on. my refrigerator is connected to a filter at the sink to filter the water. how to keep the light from coming on since i should not have to use the filter. thank you; Betty”

I am not sure if you can disable the filter light, but you can reset it by pressing and holding it for about three seconds. Then of course you will need to do it again in about 4 to 6 months.
