• It goes in wherever you're keeping your produce. If in one of the small drawers in the fridge put it there. If you're putting your produce in the middle drawer put it there.

• Should consult the manual or Whirlpool. They installed mine into the bottom left drawer (in the fridge section)

• I stuck it in the middle compartment, the little narrow one, it appears to have airspace above all the produce drawers which I guess would benefit all of the produce areas. Haven"t had it long enough to know if it is doing anything as yet.
