i just bought my refrigerator. it's definitely a smaller ice bin, but i have not experienced an instance where there was never enough ice in the bin. i am a daily user of the ice feature and so is my family of four. if you are throwing a party and need a lot of ice, then it may not be a good fit, but there is a feature that allows for "quick" ice to be created. i haven't tried it yet.
