Ben, I am not sure where you are seeing 124. This dryer requires a 120/240-volt, 60-Hz., AC-only electrical supply on a separate 30-amp circuit. Please see the electrical requirements listed on page 6 of the Installation Instructions for more specific information. Thank you for your interest in a Whirlpool dryer!
