A:AnswerUnplug it for 45 minutes then replug it in. The low intelligence workers who designed this junk couldn't be bothered to put a simple reset button. Instead we have to waste 45 minutes of our lives after this machine already takes twice as long to do a horrible job at washing my clothes in 2" of water YET TAKES FOREVER TO DO IT & then leaves them stinky & too wet unless I waste double the rinse water to do a "second" so-called "deep water rinse which is 4' inches of water. Way to save water Whirlpool!!! DON'T BUY THIS OR ANY WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCE! 20 YEARS OF WHIRLPOOL - I'VE FINALLY LEARNED MY LESSON EACH ONE IS WORSE THAN THE LAST!
A:AnswerChoose wash with deep rinse with 2 rinses for softener then stand around until it gets to second rinse it'll unlock. When it finishes filling up with 4" of water MAYBE instead of 2" I found in mine. Mine usually only has 2" which won't allow the softener to mix into the clothes. We have to waste water to get our clothes to not be stinky. I don't think they're clean though. DON'T ADD WATER WITH THE SOFTENER CUZ THE MACHINE KNOWS & MINE DUMPED OUT ALL THE WATER & WAS RINSING WITHOUT ANY WATER!!! YEAH IT'S THAT DUMB OF AN APPLIANCE!!! NO MORE WHIRLPOOL FOR ME AFTER 20 YEARS FINALLY I LEARNED!
