“Is the circuit board in the control panel protected against damage from steam & heat? I'm currently shopping for a new range because my current one had damaged to the circuit board inside the control. Apparently steam & heat caused from normal everyday cooking and baking got inside the control panel and caused damage to the circuit board which controls all the functions for both stovetop and the oven. Because of this I can no longer use anything which requires the control panel to operate it, basically leaving me with minimal use of the stovetop only. I want to make sure before purchasing another range that this is not going to happen again. My question is this....Is the circuit board and all other delicate components needed for this range to function correctly properly protected from damage from steam, heat and any other properties that may result from normal use while cooking? Thank You in advance for your help.”
