QuestionHow do you turn on end of cycle tone? I don't know the cycle is finished unless I physically look at the washer and see the light on Done lite. Per instruction you can turn it off but doesn't say where or how. Thanks

QuestionHow do you add fabric softener? I set it for softener, but couldn't unlock it during rinse cycle. I pushed pause, and it paused, but door did not unlock. Now what?

- Answer Wiscolisa, During the final rinse, wait until the washer has completed filling and press the START/Pause button to pause the washer. Lift the lid and add the measured, recommended amount of liquid fabric softener. Do not use more than the recommended amount. Close the lid and press the START/Pause button again to start the washer.

QuestionMy new Whirlpool WTW5000DW shakes a lot during the spin cycle. Sometimes it isn't too bad but at times it bangs the wall and throws things on the shelf above it off the shelf onto the washer top. I try to balance clothes when I put them in.

- Answer I’ve heard it make some noise but immediately stops. Possibly because the clothes balances itself inside while in cycle. I do enjoy the large capacity and washes the clothes great and leaves them amazingly clean.

QuestionI do not understand the options on the settings. What does "casual' mean? What do i use for permanent press clothing? Since there is also a knob for wash temperature control, what does the 'cold' on the cycle setting do.

- Answer I just purchased the 2 in 1. I had the Cabrio for years. This machine is the most basic machine with no place for fabric softener. Not even a beep to alert you when to add the fabric softener. They put all there focus on this removable agitator and went way back in their technology aspects! Disappointing
