• Mine does not. No problems so far. Make sure the door is closed tight. It shows when it locks by a light coming on.

• It has not leaked for me. If you stop and add clothes after the wash is started it may drip a bit from the open door.

• I just purchased this model had an old duet that never leaked. I ran this one twice and it did leak on the second load and I did not open it to add anything. Disappointed!
