Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will be fine. Wear and tear overtime is normal. We recently replaced our 12 yr old whirlpool stove for this one and we love it so far. We use all different types of pots and pans with no issues and clean the stove top as usual.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use my 20+ year old Calphalon pan set on the stovetop and I have had no issues. Just make sure the bottom of the pots and pans are clean before you put it on the glass. And if you move the pot or pan to a different burn, make sure to lift it up off the glass instead of sliding it. This should help prevent scratches. Also only use glass/ceramic stovetop cleaner and a soft cloth or paper towel to clean it. Scrubbing pads, even the softer ones, can leave scratch marks.
