- Answer shepcat, the Air Fry cycle will default to a higher cooking temperature than convection to optimize heat for air frying. During this cycle, the Oven elements and the convection fan are used to circulate intense heat around the food. When the Air Fry cycle is used with an Air Fry basket, it will circulate hot air around the basket for optimizing browning and crisping. The Convection cycle will circulate hot air from two heating elements around the Oven so you do not have to move any dishes around as you cook. We hope this helps!

- Answer Hello Craig, smoke may vary depending on the items that are being cooked. There is a vent at the top of the Range where the control panel is. We would recommend placing a pan or something underneath the air fry basket for assistance.

- Answer Hi Joey, The Melt cooking element offers flexibility due to a wide range of settings between HI and Melt. The HI heat option can be used to boil small amounts of liquid quickly. The lowest setting can be used to prepare sauces and to keep foods at a low temperature. The Dual Zone cooking element offers flexibility depending on the size of the cookware. Single size can be used in the same way as a regular element. The dual size combines both the single and outer element and is recommended for larger size cookware.

QuestionI just got the Whirlpool convection oven. I know the fan is supposed to cycle On and off during the convection an air fryer mode. The fan constantly clicks on and clicks right off in less than a second. Is this normal?
