A:Answer Instead of spending that much to repair, I would get a new one. Even if repaired, it may never be the same. A word of advice: do not use the self-clean function. The intense heat can ruin electronics! Seems crazy, since the manufacturer has that function on the oven, but can be true. A serviceman explained that to my friend who ended up having to replace an expensive double wall oven for that reason. He told her he saw it happen to many makes/models. Easy-Off is messy and stinks, but it’s the way to go.
