“If the space between my counter tops is 29 3/4, is this stove going to fit?”

Tough question to answer. I just measured across the top of the unit (across the cooking area) and it is 29 3/4". Across the front of the unit where the control knobs are located, it measures 29 7/8". The installation instructions show the counter opening dimension of 30". We currently have laminate counter tops and Mr Horne had to widen the opening to install the range. Whirlpool does offer side trim kits for the range. I assume that these are needed to fill in any gaps between the range top and the edge of the counter.
