• No it is not. The stainless steel around the control panel at the front of the stove seems to resist fingerprints and smudges better than the stainless steel around the door and the drawer. I just used a stainless steel cleaner on all of the stainless steel as soon as it was installed to help give a protective coating to make clean up easier. I use Sprayway brand stainless steel spray cleaner and polish in a spray can and it works great. I do an occasional touch up with the cleaner when I notice spots or smudges on the stainless to stay ahead of the cleaning game. The stainless steel around the control panel area cleans very well with soap and water when cleaning the stove top after use.
