• A:Answer Hi Doorlock, unfortunately, this Whirlpool - 6.4 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Electric Convection Range does not have a door lock feature. It does have a control lock feature, however.

Q: QuestionFront controls worry me with children. Is there a control lock setting of some sort so the kids can turn the dials and start the elements on the stove top?

• A:Answer Hello Shopperdude, there is a control lock that locks the control panel keypads to avoid unintended use of the oven(s). No keypads will function with the controls locked. Q: QuestionBest Buy specs lists Model: WEE750H0HZ as 50 AMP but Home Depot lists it as 40 AMP. The documentation is a bit confusing. Can someone check the label or tell me if this is a 40 AMP or a 50 AMP range?

Q: QuestionI bought model YWFE975H0HZ1. With convection bake the oven has to preheat and food is put in the oven only when it has beeped. With convection roast no preheating shows up. Is this a flaw or with convection roast the food goes in the oven right away?

Q: QuestionOn the stainless steel model, are ALL of the silver surfaces made of actual stainless steel? Or are any of the surfaces another material that is just painted to look like stainless steel? Model WEE745H0FS has some plastic, and I don't want that.

Q: QuestionAre the control panels metal? Doers this range have issues common with the 745 model where panels were painted and paint came off easily (with a fingernail). I have had two microwaves with this issue and don't want to chance this happening with a range.

• A:Answer If you are referring to the control panel that houses the low quality failing touch screen then that is glass all the way across the top. If your referring to the panel the knobs are attached to it is metal. Do not buy this oven that sceeen failed in 4 months.

• A:Answer the trim kit w10675027 is only the fill in pieces for the side where it meets the counter. There is no upright piece for the back (to fill in where you are replacing a free standing rear control range) nor is there a filler piece if needed to fit between the back of the stove and the wall.

Q: QuestionHi, When are you going to make a slide-in electric range that matches the dishwasher and fridge with these same handles that is fingerproof resistant? I see that there is currently one out there but not the same handles and isnt even available yet.

Q: QuestionI am reading over and over and over about the sensitivity of the touch screen. The extended protection plan is over 200.00. If this goes out, will whirlpool fix it within the first few years? If I purchase it and absolutely hate it, am I stuck with it?
