“does the drum have a light? does the door open to the right or left (by default--without paying extra to switch it)?”

This question is for: Whirlpool - 7.4 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle Electric Dryer with Steam

yes it has a light. Mine opens from the left. The handle is on the left, I pull it open and it stays to the right of the drum. The hinges are on the right side if I am facing it to put my laundry inside.

The door swings to the right and is reversible and there is no light in the drum.

The dryer drum does not have a light. The door opens from left to right as in the picture. There were instructions with the dryer to switch it to the other side if you want - or you can pay to have it switched.

Did not have drum light. Mine opens to the right. I am pretty sure it is easy to switch.
